The Composing Process

If you have ever been to school, then you probably remember the old"writing essays" in high school or college. Writing essays was always a chore. These days, however, it is just as simple to write one as it is to find an A in English (or some other academic topic for that matter).

Pupils use their writing abilities to argue their points and convince the reader that their main premise is true. Students also use their writing abilities to both support and oppose views they believe to be untrue.

When writing documents, the writer must first determine exactly what the focus will be in the span of the assignment. Some students decide to write a response to a composition they're reading or likely to read; others wish to compose a questionnaire to answer a question they have been asked. Then, once the focus has been determined, the composing process begins.

As with any other skill, practice makes perfect. Students must take a minute to analyze the paper and see what parts of the writing are weak and what parts are strong. Then, as they unveil the article, they need to take a little time to go over all the weak segments and work to reinforce them. During the writing process, students should be cautious to not copy previous paragraphs word for word. Rather, they should rewrite each paragraph to match the style and arrangement of their writing assignments.

Essay writing is very similar to other kinds of writing; nonetheless, when writing essays it is very important to not forget that the objective is to persuade the reader to accepting a point of perspective, or to consider the writer's point of view. By way of instance, if the author would like to argue that the overall topic of the essay is the dinosaurs roamed the earth before humans, they must first demonstrate dinosaurs roamed the earth.
